Depending on age, fitness levels, abilities and interests, GPG can coordinate activities for the non-golfing guests.

Two distinct First Nations peoples have coexisted in the Whistler area for thousands of years living in close harmony with the abundant waters and lands. Although their lifestyle is now integrated into Canadian society, their strong traditions, art and spiritual ways are evident and maintained in these more modern times. The Squamish and Lil’wat Nations have built a cultural centre to house and showcase their art, history and culture.

GEOLOGY & ECOLOGY

Experienced guides will lead you on a tour of Whistler’s geological and ecological wonders. The effects of climate change in the area will be explored. Tours will be light to moderate in physical effort and will include an indoor presentation as well as a trip across the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola.

BEAR SIGHTSEEING TOUR

Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains are home to bears and cubs that live and hibernate within ski area habitats. You will travel in a comfortable 4x4 vehicle through a maze of ski area roads to witness the life of this spectacular species.

LOST LAKE WALK OR CYCLE

Whistler is home to world-class parks and trails. On this outing you will cycle or walk right from the hotel along paved trails to Lost Lake. The loop around lost lake is both an easy loop and a very scenic one.

ALEXANDER FALLS PICNIC

One of Whistler’s most spectacular waterfalls is Alexander Falls, located in the Callaghan Valley region near the area where the 2010 Olympic Nordic events took place. The drive up to the falls is amazing and bear sightings are very common along the road.
